Is the event family-friendly?

Yes! While we do not have child-specific activities or entertainment, there are a variety of things for all ages to enjoy, such as performances, traditional games, delicious food, and nonalcoholic beverages.

Can pets come?

Service animals may attend. Other pets are not permitted at the event.

What’s included with the $10 ticket cost?

One free beverage is included with your ticket. Attendees 21+ may claim a free beer, and attendees under 21 may claim a free nonalcoholic beverage.

Do we need tickets for young kids?

Infants or children under 2 are free. All other attendees must have a ticket.

What’s the parking situation like?

Onsite garage at 1850 K Street and 1825 18th Street NW and street parking.

Where’s the nearest metro stop?

Blue, Orange, and Silver lines to Farragut West which is right at the festival. Red Line to Farragut North just 2 blocks away.

What kind of beers are available?

We have curated a selection of beers with the German Embassy and German American Heritage Foundation inspired by what you would find at the Munich Oktoberfest. The selection includes: Allgäuer Büble Festbier, Allgäuer Büble Edelwiessebier, Atlas Brewworks Hefeweizen, DC Brau Oktoberfest (Märzen), Sam Adams Oktoberfest (Märzen), and Warsteiner Dunkel

Are nonalcoholic drinks available/included in the free pour?

Yes, non-beer drinkers and those under 21 can get a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage instead.

Are bags allowed inside?

Bags are permitted inside the event, and may be checked upon entrance.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

This is event is sold out! No more tickets will be available for sale at the door.
